Twenty-nine years ago today, I attended one of my first concerts ever. The Rolling Stones, J. Geils Band, George Thorogood...and Prince at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Today's track from The Knife is called "Heartbeats". It's been covered by José González, Scala & Kolacny Brothers, Bombs and Bottles and probably others.

"Heartbeats" was one of the first songs I heard from The Knife and I remember thinking. Is this Bjork? No, Kate Bush? No, it's THE KNIFE, and I've been hooked ever since.
