I've been listening to a band called "O Children" this past week and I'm really digging them. So much so, that I'm gonna reach out to the band and tell them I love them!
They are a brooding and haunting post-punk pop band with deep intense melodies and a "remarkable front-man in the shape of a giant male Grace Jones". I don't wanna start throwing around comparisons, but close your eyes and think "The Church" mixed with a bit of "Joy Division".
Here are 3 of their songs that I think you'll like:
"Dead Disco Dancer"
"Ruins"
Lastly, here is the song "Don't Dig". It closes their disc PERFECTLY, and I think it's my favorite so far.
I understand that they toured with Gary Numan earlier this year, so if you get the opportunity, GO SEE THEM LIVE!
As always, for more information, visit the band's webpages:

The disc comes out in the US on 10/26/10, so pick it up!!

The Knife "Marble House"
Today's video is yet another one of my favorite songs. It's called "Marble House", and I've posted the live version for your AV enjoyment. Rather than ramble on about it, I'll just let you check it out.
As always, I hope you enjoy this bit as much as I do.
