Terry Hall is a god. The Specials. Fun Boy Three. The Colourfield. Vegas. Solo. Everything. He's an amazing artist, and an amazing person, so I thought I'd post a few songs to celebrate the season!
Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I wish each of you a day full of laughter, love and peace as we reflect on all that we are so blessed to be thankful for
"...be thankful for what you've got"

Brilliant video. For those who've not seen it before...please be mindful that this is not a "G" Rated Video.

Spiritualized
I love Spiritualized. Jason Pierce has the most amazing ability to be able to take exactly what you're thinking and put it to song. I intend to post much more Jason Pierce stuff, but for now, just listen to the 2 songs I've attached.
Close your eyes, and feel them.
Enjoy!

Fix You
This might be a bit personal for a blog, but you know those times when you see a friend is hurting, and there's nothing you can do and you feel absolutely gutted? This is a song that seems to sum all those feelings up with a tiny bow.
xo
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And I...
Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And I...
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Gary Numan - Are 'Friends' Electric? (Live 1979)
Since I'm on my Gary Numan kick, I thought I'd post a 31 YEAR OLD PERFORMANCE of his.
Enjoy!

Gary Numan is AWESOME.
I was fortunate enough to see Paul Well and Gary Numan last week and I wanted to share a bit of Gary with anyone who has not seen him live. I'm also posting this for people who think "Cars" is his only song. Gary Numan has been recording for over 30 years and has a huge catalog (much of which I intend to post soon). I'd love for you to check him out.
Today, I'm posting my 3 favorite songs by Gary Numan/Tubeway Army ever. The clips are from his 2006 show for the release of his disc "Jagged" (which is pretty damn good), but HE SOUNDS EVEN BETTER NOW! It's insane.
Enjoy!

First up is "Metal"
Second is "Down in the park"
Third is "Are 'friends' electric?"

Lydia Lunch
What can I say about Lydia Lunch that already hasn't been said. She's an amazing, independent singer/songwriter/poet/actor who has an enormous catalog.
She's also an amazing cover artist. Here are 2 covers for your enjoyment :)

Why don't we do it in the road (With Clint Ruin)
